और इंसान मौसम नहीं है फिर भी बदल जाता है!

तन्हा रातें कुछ इस तरह से डराने लगी मुझे,
मैं आज अपने पैरों की आहट से डर गया..!!
Lonely nights started scaring me like this,
Today I got scared by the sound of my feet..!! -
तकलीफ तो जिंदगी देती हैं,
मौत को तो लोग युही बदनाम करते हैं..!!
Life gives troubles,
This is why people defame death..!! -
बदल जाती है ज़िन्दगी की सच्चाई ऊस वक्त..जब कोई तुम्हारा तुम्हारे सामनेतुम्हारा नहीं होता !!
The truth of life changes at that time...when no one is yours in front of you!! -
मजाक बना लो अभी जब तक गमों की रात है
सबको औकात दिखाएंगे
बस कुछ दिनों की बात है..!!

मेरा हाल देखकर मोहब्बत भी शर्मिंदा है कि,
ये शख्स सब कुछ हार गया, फिर भी जिन्दा हैं..!!
Even love is embarrassed to see my condition,
This person lost everything, yet is alive..!! -
खुद से ज्यादा कोई और
नहीं समझ सकता खुद का दर्द।

कुछ लम्हे अब अकेले बिताना सीख रहा हूंँ,
सबके लिए हमेशा रहना का हुनर,
अब महगा पड़ रहा है।
Now I am learning to spend some moments alone,
The skill of always being there for everyone,
Now it is becoming expensive. -
आज इतना अकेला महसूस किया खुद को,
जैसे लोग दफना के चले गए हो।
I felt so alone today,
As if people have buried themselves and gone away. -
अभी जरा वक़्त हैं उसको मुझे अजमाने दो,
वो रो-रोकर पुकारेगी मुझे बस मेरा वक़्त तो आने दो..!!
There is still some time, let me try it,
She will cry and call me, just let my time come..!! -
ए जिंदगी थक चुका हूं मैं
अब कोई ऐसा ही ख्वाब
दिखाना जो पूरा हो सके..!!

चाहे जितना भी किसी को अपना बना लो,
वो एक दिन आपको गैर महसूस करा ही देते हैं!

रूठना भी छोड़ दिया है अब मैंने,
उम्मीद नहीं कोई मनाने भी आयेगा..!!
Now I have stopped getting angry,
I don't hope anyone will come to convince me..!! -
अकेले ही तय करने होते हैं कुछ सफर,
जिन्दगी के हर सफर में हमसफ़र नहीं होते..!
Some journeys have to be traveled alone,
There are no companions in every journey of life..! -
मृत्यु से डरता नहीं जिसे सत्य की पहचान है
मृत्यु ही है मंजिल तुम्हारी
जिंदगी तो बस कुछ दिनों की मेहमान है..!!

दर्द जब हद से ज्यादा बढ़ जाए,
तो वो ख़ामोशी का रूप ले लेता है।
When the pain increases beyond limits,
So it takes the form of silence. -
नफरत सी हो गई है इस जिंदगी से,
अब बस आखिरी दिन का इंतजार है।
I have become disgusted with this life,
Now just waiting for the last day. -

क्यों इस कदर मुझे बेताब करती है
क्या कसूर है मेरा जो हर बात का
मुझसे हिसाब करती है..!!

किसी के जाने से ज़िन्दगी नहीं रूकती, सच है,
लेकिन उसकी कमी जरूर रहती है ज़िन्दगी में..!!
Life does not stop with someone's death, it is true,
But its absence definitely remains in life..!! -
स्कूल का वो बस्ता मुझे फिर से थमा दे माँ,
ये जिंदगी का सफ़र मुझे बहुत मुश्किल लगता हैं..!!

I find this journey of life very difficult..!! -
कितनी जल्दी दूर हो जाते हैं वो लोग,
जिन्हें हम जिंदगी समझ कर कभी खोना नहीं चाहते।
How quickly those people go away,
Which we consider as life and never want to lose. -
इंसान सिर्फ एक कारण से अकेला पड़ जाता हैं,
जब उसके अपने ही उसे गलत समझने लगते हैं..!!
Man becomes lonely for only one reason,
When his own people start misunderstanding him..!! -
आदत थी मेरी सबसे हंसकर बोलना,
मेरा शौक ही मुझे बदनाम कर गया।
It was my habit to laugh at everyone,
My very hobby brought me into disrepute. -
अपनो ने अकेला इतना कर दिया,
कि अब अकेलापन ही अपना लगता है।
My own people have done this much alone,
That now loneliness feels like mine. -
जिंदगी की यह कैसी रीत है
पत्थरों को लगाए जाते हैं भोग
और सड़कों पर मर जाते हैं भूखे लोग..!!

मैंने आज तक हर रिश्ते दिल से और सच्चाई से निभाये हैं,
लेकिन मिला कुछ भी नहीं आंसुओ के सिवा।
Till date I have maintained every relationship with heart and truth,
But I got nothing but tears. -
एक हद तक दर्द सहने के बाद इंसान खामोश हो जाता है,
और फिर ना किसी से शिकायत करता है, ना किसी से कोई उम्मीद रखता है..!!
After enduring pain to a certain extent, a person becomes silent.
And then he neither complains to anyone nor has any expectations from anyone..!! -
हजारों महफिलें हैं और लाखों मेले हैं,
पर जहाँ तुम नहीं वहाँ हम अकेले हैं..!!
There are thousands of gatherings and lakhs of fairs,
But where you are not there we are alone..!! -
कुछ हो न हो सभी को ज़िन्दगी में
एक बार सच्चा प्यार जरूर होता है,
और वो कभी पूरा नहीं होता..!!
Something may happen to everyone in life.
True love happens once,
And it never gets completed..!! -
आज परछांई से पूछ ही लिया,
क्यों चलती हो मेरे साथ
उसने भी हंसके कहा,
और कौन है……. तेरे साथ..!

अजब पहेलियाँ हैं हाथों की लकीरों में,
सफ़र ही सफ़र लिखा हैं हमसफ़र कोई नहीं..!!

Only the journey is written, there is no companion..!! -
काश कोई मुझे मुझ जैसा मिले
जो जिंदगी से कुछ रुठा हुआ हो
जिसका दिल इश्क में टूटा हुआ हो..!!
I wish I could find someone like me
someone who is somewhat upset with life
Whose heart is broken in love..!! -
ना साथ है kisi का ना सहारा है कोई,
ना हम kisi के हैं ना हमारा है कोई।
No one is with me, no one is there to support me,
Neither we belong to anyone nor anyone belongs to us. -
ये दुनिया कहने को तो अपनो का मेला है..
ध्यान से देखो तो यहां हर शख्स अकेला।
This world is a fair of our own people.
If you look carefully, everyone here is alone. -
कई बार ये जिंदगी ऐसे मोड़ पर लेकर खड़ा कर देती हैं,
की अगर बातें बोल दी जाये तो रिश्ते मर जाते हैं,
और अगर दिल में रख ली जाये तो इंसान खुद मर जाता है।
Many times this life takes us to such a turning point,
That if things are spoken then relationships die,
And if it is kept in the heart then the person himself dies.
